Mini-Saga

Another Dog Day Afternoon

The dog stood in the park; scruffy and dirty with no food to eat. He glanced at the other dogs, running, jumping and playing with their human companions. Just then a frisbee came his way. Could this be his chance to find an owner? Too late, another dog caught it.

Identity Chart

In our United States History and Ethnic Studies class, we created an Identity Chart. An identity chart includes labels or symbols that represent how you see yourself and labels that describe how others see you.

How is your identity formed?
My identity is formed by my culture, lifestyle, experience and family.
How does your identity influence your attitudes and beliefs?
My identity allows me to be open to new ideas and new experiences. I believe that I think and live "outside the box" and that I don't allow labels to cloud my opinion of others. I am curious about the world, especially the culture and lifestyles of other people.
